SEROLOGY COVID-19 ANTIBODY TEST

COLLECTION STEPS

It is important to read the instruction for use carefully BEFORE performing the test.

STEP 1: Open Test

Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch by tearing at the notch and place it on a level surface.

STEP 2: Clean Finger

Clean the area to be lanced with an alcohol pad. Allow the finger to dry thoroughly.

STEP 3: Prick Finger

Use the provided sterile lancet, puncture the skin just off the center of the finger pad. Apply gentle pressure beside the point of the puncture. Wipe away the first drop of blood. Allow a new drop of blood to form. If blood flow is inadequate, gently massage at the finger base to produce a droplet.

STEP 4: Collect Blood

Collect finger blood with the disposable dropper (collect blood to the blue line marked on dropper).

STEP 5: Transfer Blood

Transfer blood specimen to the sample well (small well) and then add 2-3 drops of buffer solution to the buffer well (large well).

STEP 6: Read Test

As the test begins to work, you will notice and see purple color move across the result window in the center of the test device.


Wait for 15 minutes and read the results. Do not read results after 20 minutes.

Read Results

Positive Results

Colored bands show at both line (T) and control line (C). It indicates a positive result for the COVID-19 antibodies.

Negative Results

Colored band appear at control line (C) only. It indicates that the COVID-19 antibodies is not detected or present. 

Invalid Results

No visible colored band appear at the control line after performing the test. Directions may not have been followed correctly.
